Privacy

What we store

Accounts use a username, display name, password hash and recovery-code hash. We do not ask for your email address. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored as readable text. Your public profile, published puzzles, follows, likes and comments are visible to other visitors. Drafts are private.

We store your guesses and results so you can return to a puzzle. Guest play uses a random session cookie; an account is not required. Guest progress is transferred to your account if you join or log in using the same browser.

Cookies and service data

We use an essential, HttpOnly session cookie that expires after 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting providers process ordinary request data to deliver and protect the service. We store hashed request identifiers temporarily to limit abusive signup and login attempts.

Your controls

You can edit your display name and bio, remove your own comments, unfollow makers, unlike puzzles and remove your published puzzles from the feed. Published puzzle answers cannot be changed because other people may already be solving them. Keep your recovery code in a password manager: if you lose both it and your password, we cannot recover the account.

Requests and questions

For account deletion or privacy questions, contact the maker through Anusree’s website. In-product reports go privately to the moderator. Do not include passwords or recovery codes in a report.

Infrastructure

The application is hosted on Vercel and stores its records in Neon Postgres. We do not sell your account information. Product Hunt, when you follow a launch link, is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
